AVP - Cloud Director (Saudization)
Active Cloud Architecture Oversight:
· Lead by example with hands-on involvement in the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure.
· Collaborate closely with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot technical challenges and provide guidance.
· Ensure that best practices are followed in cloud architecture and operations.
Cloud Ecosystem Orchestration:
· Spearhead the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
· Evaluate, select, and manage cloud service providers to meet organizational needs.
Infrastructure Team Development:
· Build, mentor, and manage a highly skilled infrastructure team.
· Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and promote professional development.
Digital Fortress Management:
· Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to fintech.
Resilience Planning:
· Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
· Ensure business continuity in case of infrastructure failures.
Resource Optimization:
· Monitor cloud resource usage and optimize costs without compromising performance.
· Implement cost-saving strategies and track budget adherence.
Technology Foresight:
· Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
· Lead the adoption of innovative solutions to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Executive Support:
· Learn and understand the responsibilities and tasks of the senior technology leadership role.
· Be prepared to assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the senior technology executive, ensuring seamless operations.
Core Expertise:
· Extensive track record (15+ years) in cloud infrastructure architecture and management
· Profound knowledge of cloud ecosystems (e.g., OCI, GCP) and their associated services
· Demonstrated mastery in security protocols, compliance frameworks, and data protection strategies
Leadership and Communication:
· Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing technical teams
· Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
Educational Foundation:
· Advanced degree in a technology-related field preferred; Bachelor's degree minimum
Strategic Competencies:
· Adept at disaster recovery planning and implementation
· Sharp analytical mind with a knack for strategic problem-solving
